Welcome to my website. I hope this letter finds you well and ready to join in my adventures. This
log is an online journal. It's a place for me to share experiences, photos and whatever else occurs to
me. You'll find my opinions on a variety of topics as well as links to other things on the web that I
find interesting. When the spirit moves me, I may also include longer essays on topics. And for those
of you who know me the longer essays can be really long. This website is designed to allow me to share
my travel adventures with you. I hope that it will encourage other women to travel solo. I will be
posting entries weekly. I have also decided that I am turning in to a blogger. But whatever! Skip what you don't like, read what you do like. It has take me awhile to update this site. Make yourselves at home and enjoy. Feel free to email your thoughts and opinions or just keep in touch. Also if you find a broken link please email me. It is 2007 and I am back. Thank you to the many people who took the time to send me emails regarding my site. Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to please start back up. Well I am back. I am still traveling and I guess 5 years ago I did call it correctly I am a blogger. Just because I wasn't listing it on my website doesn't mean I didn't photograph it or document it so here goes 5 years in a nutshell. My new additions to the website are identified accordingly. THE BEGINNING OF THIS SITE! Who, What, Where, When and How? Who? - Tonee What? - I am going to China teach English Where? - Zhengzhou, Henan Province that is about 1.5 hrs South of Beijing and 1 hr. north of Shanghai. Zhengzhou is one of the larger cities in China. When? - September 2, 2001 to July 2002 How? - I decided to fly. The slow boat to China, which is what my books were sent on, departed July 3, 2001 and they are not due to arrive until Mid September. So I thought flying was better. I always thought that was a joke but there really is a slow boat to China and it really is SLOW. |
